UTILITIES PERMIT:

    Removal and/or replacement of Utility Poles shall require a permit issued by the Borough Secretary at a charge of $l0.00 per pole.
    Borough Secretary shall be notified of utility company supervisor’s name and phone number as well as location of removal and/or replacement of utility poles. Permit must be applied for as well as paid for prior to work being started.
    Repair and/or replacement of utility lines shall require a permit approved by Borough Council President at a fee of $10.00 per permit.
    The following information shall be required to be filed with the Borough Office prior to permit being issued: Utility Company, Land Owner, Location, Supervisor, Phone Number.

CONDITIONAL USE FEE OR ANY OTHER ACTION:

$500.00 deposit to cover the cost of advertising the public hearing and posting the affected property, with any amount left in the deposit returned to the applicant after the decision is reached. Deposit shall be received by the Secretary prior to the scheduling of the public hearing-whether at council meeting or separate public hearing.

NO LIEN LETTERS:

No Lien/Lien Letters are requested by financial institutions and/or real estate companies to be completed by Connoquenessing Borough as well as by the Borough Real Estate /Wage Tax Collectors. $25.00 shall be charged per letter if given a two (2) week notice. If a letter is needed within seven (7) days, $50.00 shall be charged. The fee is payable to the Borough at the time of the clients closing. The Borough Council President, Council Vice President and Secretary are authorized to sign the Connoquenessing Borough No Lien/Lien Letters.

RECYCLING CONTAINERS:

The first container for recycling will not be charged. Each additional bin shall be $5.00.

BID PACKAGES:

Bid package fees will be determined on a project by project basis.

COPIES OF ANY PUBLIC INFORMATION:
Any photocopies of public information requested by anyone are to be charge at a rate of $.25/copy.

All costs incurred by the Borough for copies of any public information requested by a citizen, other than 8.5 x 11 or legal size (that can be made on the copy machine in the office), will be the responsibility of the requester.

LANDLORD YEARLY FEE:

Each landlord will pay an annually a $5.00 fee and provide information to the Borough regarding all tenants 18 years of age or older.  This information is required anytime the landlord has a tenant change.

SIGN PERMIT FEE:

An application is required before installation of any sign and must be obtained from the Borough Secretary with payment of $20.00 at the time application is made.

OVERWEIGHT VEHICLE PERMIT:

A permit must be completed and a fee of $15.00 paid to haul overweight loads on Borough roads.
